Have an idea for a new business? Need fresh or new ideas for your existing business? The Idea Cafe is a weekly meeting with a unique format. One or two speakers are invited to attend and share with the group how they translated their ideas into reality. Then the group brainstorms around specific problems that participants are dealing with, such as, "How do I get the word out about my business?" or "How do I gain more media attention for my project?"

The Idea Cafe Meetup is not a networking event, but a peer mentoring and brainstorming session, and a great way to get support in a short amount of time.

The August, 2008, festival will continue an eight year tradition in which an elite jazz concert has been hosted in Denver's Five Points community. The festival, which is scheduled to coincide with the Democratic National Convention, is 3 minutes from downtown Denver via light rail.

The festival has become one of Denver's most anticipated annual neighborhood celebrations and typically attracts up to 3,000 guests. Performers have included internationally celebrated musicians like Hugh Masekela, Jonathan Butler, Najee, and Alex Bugnon, and negotiations with top jazz and blues artists for the 2008 festival are underway.
