As a grassroots, community-based organization, all of our programs and efforts to promote and strengthen local businesses is supported by our membership. We operate from the principle that when we work together and pool our resources, we can have a greater impact than if we worked alone. We do not have funding from external sources, and keep our membership rates very low to allow many kinds of businesses to participate.

We offer memberships to local businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. Be sure to read about the benefits offered to Members. 

Membership Types and Rates

For Businesses & Organizations

To qualify as a Business Member, you must:

• Be headquartered in the State of Colorado
• Not be owned by a non-Colorado company

Base membership fees are one low monthly rate for all qualifying businesses. Membership for all businesses is currently $17.50 per month.

Businesses with more than one location will be charged an additional one time fee of $10 fee per location.

If you own multiple businesses, you may receive up to 50% off additional business memberships.

Non-profit organizations receive a 20% discount off regular rates.

Business owners under 25 receive a special Young Entrepreneurs rate of just $95 per year.

For Individuals

Memberships for Colorado residents who are not associated with a locally owned business are also available for $35 per year. Indvidual members receive:

• Member discounts for MHBA events
• Denver Dining Discount Card with over $1100 in meal offers from locally owned restaurants
• $5 discount off Colorado Local First t-shirts
• Special offers from participating Colorado Local First businesses
