Confused
by "Local?"
We've noticed there are a lot of online
resources out there that promise to help you find local businesses.
Trouble is, we think they're confused by what local really means.
When we say "local," we mean businesses that are rooted in the
community - primarily because of being locally owned and operated, not
national chains that are nearby.
When we seek out goods and services provided by our neighbors, we're
getting one-of-a-kind items, but also the experience of being more
connected to our community.
