Green Frontier Fest

A community celebration of sustainable choices in the New West, held in conjunction with the 2008 Democratic National Convention!

A Celebration of Empowerment Join us in a celebration of healthy and green living as Colorado kicks off the greenest political convention in modern American history.  The Green Frontier Fest, showcasing everything from major renewable energy technologies to everyday products and services, aims to create an engaging, educational, and empowering view of greener living. This event is a benefit for the City of Denver Greenprint program.

In the Heart of the City This premier celebration of the New American West will be held outside in beautiful Sculpture Park, adjacent to the Denver Center for Performing Arts, in downtown Denver, Colorado. Held in conjunction with the 2008 Democratic National Convention, the festival runs from 10 AM until 6 PM.   This event is free to attend and loaded with fun, festive and educational features.

Free Admission and Something for Everyone! The City and County of Denver and the ReDirect Guide are pleased to present more than 100 screened and qualified booths, exhibits, and features, including a special presentation by Van Jones and other guest speakers, children's activities, a farmers' market, eco carnival games, live music and much more for residents and visitors of all ages.
