Special Event: Mobilizing Local Capital Now

Recession, waning consumer confidence, credit crunch. Many of our local businesses are feeling the pain of these problems now. What can we do to avoid the economic downward spiral, and mobilize our resources to keep our local businesses in business?

Please join us for a special event for local business owners and community leaders entitled: Mobilizing Local Capital Now. This event will examine the issue head on, bring together existing resources, and look at how we can work together to strengthen our local economy.

Refreshments will be provided and a $3 donation is suggested.

When: Monday, Jan 26  6:00 - 8:00 pm (with informal networking half an hour before and after the event)

Where: Tattered Cover Book Store on East Colfax Ave. (please register for the event to stay informed!)

Who: Local business owners, community leaders and anyone interested in how to create a strong local economy

Why: To address the real capital issues being faced by local businesses now.
