Colorado Local First Campaign Updates
It has been a very exciting month for the Colorado Local First campaign. We currently have "Stop Money Wandering" signs in 100 metro area RTD buses,
and we're wrapping up sponsorship for the 2009 campaign. Through our
partnerships and media sponsors, we're able to turn every dollar of
underwriting into over $12 of media exposure for Colorado Local First. (find out more about underwriting)
One such partnership is with Wilks Media, who recently purchased radio stations Kool 105, 92.5 The Wolf, and Mix 100 from CBS. As underwriters of Colorado Local First,
Wilks is offering a special advertising opportunity to MHBA members.
Their Local First program will group 3 local businesses into one
60-second radio spot that will run during premium radio time. This
advertising would normally cost one business more than $3,000 per month
- but while sharing the Colorado Local First brand, each business would only pay $800 per month. (contact us for more info)
We also have secured promotion for our members in this year's ReDirect Guide and the brand-new EcoMetro Guide. So far, we've secured more than $100,000 in media promotion and advertising for the campaign. Take advantage of this exposure for your local business by joining MHBA now.
