This is a fantastic Buy Local Week flashback!

Smaller businesses are hoping Coloradans support local stores during their last-minute Christmas shopping.

Show of Hands in Cherry Creek is not only a locally owned store; they carry mostly locally-made items, including jewelry, from artists around the state.

Though Buy Local Week is over, the holiday season is still upon us. We hope that you are still being conscious about your spending through the holidays and into the new year.

Okay, okay. I get it. I'll buy local already. Sheesh. But I'm still confused...

There are a plethora of campaigns and organizations promoting buying locally this holiday season. So far, I've been blogging about a lot of individual business stories as well as coverage on our campaign here in Denver, but there's a lot more out there, especially in Boulder. Since I'm knee-deep in this stuff, I'm thoroughly in the know... and I think that you should be too! Here's a little walk through of who's who and what campaigns they're leading.
